Binghatti and Mercedes-Benz raise the stakes with a 10m sq ft multi-tower luxury city worth AED30 billion

Binghatti Developers and Mercedes-Benz have announced plans for what they describe as the world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city — a large-scale, master-planned development in Dubai with an estimated investment value of AED 30 billion.

Named Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City, the project represents the second branded residential collaboration between the Emirati developer and the German automotive brand, following the launch of Mercedes-Benz Places Dubai. It also marks a significant milestone for Binghatti, introducing the first master-planned community in the company’s history.

Set across a 10 million square foot site in Dubai’s Meydan area, the development is envisioned as a multi-tower branded district that seamlessly integrates residential buildings with retail, leisure, and community infrastructure. According to the developers, the project aims to merge luxury living with mobility innovation while reflecting Mercedes-Benz’s Sensual Purity design philosophy within a unified urban environment.

World’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city

Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City is designed as a self-sustained district, described as a city within a city. The master plan includes luxury residences, cultural and leisure destinations, retail boulevards, parks and green corridors, mobility hubs, wellness and sports facilities, as well as dining and entertainment venues. The concept focuses on offering residents everyday services and premium amenities within walking distance, combining lifestyle convenience with refined design.

Binghatti Chairman Muhammad Binghatti said the renewed partnership highlights a shared commitment to design excellence and quality.

“To partner once again with Mercedes-Benz is a testament to our shared philosophy of excellence, precision, and timeless design,” he said.

“Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City is envisioned as a world-class urban experience — a destination where luxury and innovation come together to create a complete city within a city. This master-planned development will stand among Dubai’s most distinguished addresses and serve as a true symbol of elevated living.”

Dubai developer announces AED 30bn Mercedes-Benz City project

The agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, attended by Muhammad Binghatti and Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG for Marketing and Sales. The official launch of the project is scheduled for 14 January 2026.

Mathias Geisen noted that the collaboration extends the Mercedes-Benz brand beyond automotive products into the built environment.
