December 22, 2025

The $330mn project comprises three towers built over a shared podium on Al Reem Island’s mangrove-lined waterfront

The world’s first standalone Radisson Residences—Radisson Residences Al Reem Island—will be developed by Royal Development Holding (RDH) in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group, marking a major milestone in the global branded residences sector. Positioned along Al Reem Island’s mangrove-lined waterfront, the premium development introduces a hospitality-led residential offering to the UAE capital.

RDH, a subsidiary of Emirates Stallions Group, confirmed the AED 1.2 billion (USD 330 million) project will comprise three residential towers rising from a shared podium. Located approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Abu Dhabi, the development enjoys a prime waterfront setting within one of the city’s fastest-growing lifestyle districts.

The project will feature a diverse mix of residences, including studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom townhouses, and four-bedroom townhouses. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.

Commenting on the launch, Tariq Nazzal, CEO of Royal Development Holding, said the project represents a significant milestone as both the first standalone Radisson Residences globally and the first branded residential development on Al Reem Island. He noted that the project reflects RDH’s commitment to design-led, community-focused living that appeals to residents and long-term investors alike.

Elie Milky, Chief Development Officer for the Middle East, Northeast Africa, Greece, and Cyprus at Radisson Hotel Group, added that the collaboration brings Radisson Residences to one of Abu Dhabi’s most distinctive waterfront locations, combining international hospitality standards with a nature-driven residential lifestyle.

The residences are designed around immersive coastal living, blending contemporary architecture with nature-inspired elements. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, expansive balconies, and outdoor-oriented layouts offer uninterrupted views of tidal waterways and mangrove landscapes, fostering a strong connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding environment.
Amenities at Radisson Residences Al Reem Island will include a waterfront pool deck, fitness and yoga facilities, landscaped courtyards, recreational lounges, and concierge services integrated with the Radisson Rewards Programme. The development also benefits from proximity to retail, dining, and leisure destinations, reinforcing Al Reem Island’s position as a key lifestyle and investment hub in Abu Dhabi.
